Family Offices
Long-cycle portfolio design, governance-quality decision support, and cross-border opportunity evaluation for multi-generational capital.
Janet Pritzker serves as Vice President of Investment Affairs at Pritzker Capital and is a highly experienced financial strategist with deep expertise in cross-border investment, market risk control, and high-net-worth asset allocation. Within the family office, she leads strategic fund formation across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and infrastructure, while also directing trust-structure optimization and ESG-driven investment strategy.
During the 2008 global financial crisis, while completing her MBA at Wharton, she chose to work directly in distressed-market conditions through private equity internship work in Palo Alto focused on debt restructuring and crisis credit. That experience shaped her disciplined approach to valuation, supply-chain finance, and execution under volatility. Before joining the Pritzker family office, she served at Kestrel Partners as Investment Analyst and Deputy Manager (2009-2013), leading cross-border M&A transactions in energy and manufacturing and representing the firm at Davos youth finance roundtable sessions. In 2014, she joined the family office as a due diligence advisor and, after earning internal trust through high-conviction judgment on green bond initiatives, was formally appointed to her current leadership role in 2016.
Janet Pritzker is a strategy-focused advisor to long-horizon investors, family offices, and institutional clients. She supports practical reconfiguration of capital strategy, governance, and operating decisions in uncertain market environments.
